FADER began in the fall of 2002 when Dallas natives Nick Evans, Richard Schmid and Eric Singleton met Seattle transplant Todd Clirehugh. Nick, Richard, and Eric had been looking for someone to front a new project after an amicable split of their previous 3-year endeavor. They started the writing and demoing process while searching for a new front man and also searching for a new name. There were a few weeks of deliberation ending with the agreement on the name FADER. After auditioning Todd, who they found via a “vocalist available” ad in a local trade magazine, it was decided that he was the man for the job. So, they began. . .
