Band Members:
The Vocalist, Frank Garcia, has a distinctive and strong voice that is sometimes an enunciated whisper and other times a ferocious howl. His vocal phrasing is sublime, his lyrical loops are engaging, and always unleashed with a conviction and clarity that is refreshing for this genre. His writing is sometimes witty, often times angry, always honest.

Guitarist, Anthony Gauna drives hollowpoint with a feral passion . His style is aggressive yet easily absorbed. He is a passionate and very physical player not afraid to use all of the stage during live sets where his technical ability and his emotions hare the same space creating a dramatic and compelling muscial statement .

Drummer, R.J. Gutierrez is the fuel that feeds the fire of hollowpoint. His performances are nothing short of a blur of lithe fingers and drum sticks delivering one sonic boom and well placed crash after another ­ all without sounding "triggered." Shades of the great John Bonham, for sure .

Justin Sparkman, the bassist for hollowpoint, provides a bulky and pounding bottom for the band . His performances belie his age as they are truly exciting, strong, and mature. He meets every change in each song, every composition with confidence and verve.

While some might reference other bands of the moment in this genre, a closer witnessing of hollowpoint's sound, will reveal something quite original . The band's alternative take on tradition all approaches to harmony and song structure are all-at-once brand new yet strangely familiar. In fact, they include bands like Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Pink Floyd, and The Used among their influences ­ an eclectic bunch, to say the least, yet somehow joined by an umbilical musical thread.
