The best kept secret out of Greenevers! No longer on the hush, Calvin “Lo-cal” Dixon released his debut album entitled “It’s K-OTIC” July 2004. The talented NC native has plans to take the game by storm with his unique style and eyebrow raising punch lines. Don’t be fooled by his calm, laid back demeanor because once onstage he brings a level of energy unparalleled. Since 1999, he’s been moving crowds with his energetic performances. The future of hip-hop, “Lo-Cal” graces the world with his thought provoking lyrics that will prove his keep. He was introduced to hip-hop by his cousin Duice. Since that day he has been a huge fan. From the first time he picked up a pad and pen, “Lo-Cal” knew hip-hop was his passion and hasn’t looked back since. He released his first EP December 2003 entitled “K-OTIC Entertainment Presents: lo-cal” and has caught the attention of listeners all over the nation. He has performed at “Local 506” in Chapel Hill and opened for Talib Kweli at the Neighborhood Theater in Charlotte, North Carolina. "Lo-Cal" also opened for the 2nd and 3rd Annual Comedy Showcase in front of a sell out crowd. Performed at the National Black Arts Festival @ The Underground Mall in Atlanta, Ga, The Showcase of the South, Rialto Theatre Atlanta,GA, performed @ the ATRIUM, The Royal Peacock. "Lo-Cal" has just completed his next solo album "Its My Turn" to be released Early 2006.
