Description:
From a very uncertain beginning as a thrown together backup group for a Sunday School program to today, Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show has evolved into one of the Tri-State's premier Christian rock bands. Using the format of classic rock roll from the 60's, to the 90's, "Brother Love" is not another youth band, but rather a band that appeals to all ages.
From Santana to Jimmy Buffet, the Rollin Stones to Bob Seger, Fleetwood Mac to Led Zepplin, Deep Purple to Talking Heads - the songs Brother Love plays are truly rock and roll favorites.
And by changing the lyrics, the message in Brother Love's songs is a true classic also -
"The love of Our Father in heaven and the hope and salvation of Jesus Christ."
With broad appeal, not just to Christian audiences, but also to secular crowds, Brother Love has been featured at the following:
City festivals including Florence, KY - Independence, KY - Milford, Ohio and Lakeside Park, KY.
Christian music festivals including Goodstock, Jammin' for Jesus and the
Tri-State Music Festival.
Special events including the Kentucky State Methodist Conference at Rupp Arena in Lexington, and the Annual Children's Home Picnic in Versailles, Ky.
A variety of other venues including coffeehouses, classic car shows, special church functions and Christian wedding receptions.
Brother Love also puts on an annual "unplugged" Christmas show that has played for churches and retirement communities.
Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show exists through the grace and love of our Father in heaven. Through His gift of music, we desire to share that love with others and to help spread the Good News that is Jesus Christ.
