Description:
Killjoy was formed in march of 1997. They began playing mostly Nirvana songs, later incorporating their own original material. Playing two World Festivals, multiple CD release parties for Sam Goody, and a live Radio Broadcast on 105.3fm in Manchester. They quickly developed an impressive fan base in Kentucky including the surrounding cities of Lexington, Louisville, Richmond ect. Their songs have been featured on 103.3fm in Lexington and on the soundtrack for the independent film "Road Rash". Killjoy also has a regular rotation on a Southern California based radio station, "The Punk Rock Demonstration". In Early 2002, they disbanded to pursue other career opportunities. Around february of 2006 they got back together and began writing and playing again. Killjoy spent a year in Norfolk Va, and Virginia Beach area playing the local scene. Recently they have moved to the Southern California scene. Killjoy has just finished their 5th independently released album which will be released late May.
